    Correction Latency

    Canonical specification: EI Score v1.0

    Definition

The speed with which an organisation detects, acknowledges, and corrects AI execution failures. Low correction latency means failures are caught and resolved quickly. High correction latency means failures compound silently before anyone acts.

    Why It Matters

AI failure modes compound exponentially if uncorrected. An organisation with high correction latency cannot keep pace with AI-era execution speed — failures accumulate faster than they can be addressed. High correction latency is the final accumulation mechanism for Execution Debt: every failure that goes uncorrected for too long becomes permanent structural damage.

    Team Intervention

    What teams do about this

When Correction Latency is high, teams show Courage dropping (acknowledging failures quickly requires courage), Resilience declining (repeated corrections exhaust teams without structural support), and Openness falling (teams hide errors rather than surfacing them fast).

    Courage Hackathon2 hours
    CourageOpennessResilience

Use when Courage, Openness, and Resilience are dropping — essential when the team needs safety to surface failures fast.

    Flexibility Roleplays60–90 mins
    FlexibilityResilience

Use when Flexibility and Resilience are dropping — builds the adaptive capacity to correct without breaking down.

    Team Gratitude Check-In30–45 mins
    ResilienceFlexibilityEngagement

Use when Resilience, Flexibility, and Engagement are dropping — a short reset that rebuilds capacity before the next correction cycle.

These interventions are part of the Team Practice library at TechLedCulture.com — structured plays for restoring the human-state conditions that EI dimensions require.

Measure Correction Latency in your organisation

The EI Score v1.0 Pre-Scan detects structural failure across all five dimensions — including Correction Latency — in under 10 minutes.

    This is already costing you

    Diagnose it

Your execution risk is already forming. Measure it now.

Most organisations discover this too late — after execution has already failed.

    Common questions

    Why don't surveys fix teams?

Surveys capture perception, not execution. They do not verify whether work is actually happening or whether execution integrity is intact.

How do you measure team performance?

Team performance is measured by observing execution patterns, not reported sentiment. Execution Pods operationalise this by maintaining continuous execution integrity at team level.

    What is Human Debt™?

Human Debt™ is the accumulated cost of misalignment, disengagement, and coordination failure in teams. Left unchecked, it compounds and degrades execution integrity across the organisation.

Your AI transformation is reporting 'on track' while accumulating Execution Debt. The audit finds where reported status diverges from reality.
